CPD Training: Neurodiversity in Practice – ADHD in Person and Beyond


Our Neurodiversity in Practice – ADHD in Person and Beyond CPD is a thought-provoking and experiential one-day training designed for practising counsellors, psychotherapists, and mental health professionals seeking to develop a deeper, more compassionate understanding of ADHD within the neurodiversity framework. Moving beyond stereotypes and medicalised labels, this course explores ADHD as a unique way of experiencing the world—rich in creativity, intensity, and challenge.


Through contemporary research, client-informed insights, and lived experience perspectives, participants will explore how ADHD presents differently across genders, life stages, and cultural contexts, and how it interacts with trauma, attachment, and emotional regulation. The day integrates theory with practical application, focusing on therapeutic adaptations, relational attunement, and ways to create inclusive, affirming spaces for neurodivergent clients.
