Workshop: Understanding and Supporting EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
Our Understanding and Supporting EBSA workshop is a compassionate and informative session designed for parents, caregivers, and professionals who support children and young people experiencing school-related anxiety or avoidance. Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) is not about defiance or refusal—it is about distress.
This workshop explores the emotional roots of EBSA, helping adults understand what is happening beneath the behaviour and how to respond with empathy, consistency, and confidence.

You’ll leave with practical, evidence-based strategies for easing school-related distress and fostering emotional safety at home and in…
